GI SCORING RATIONALE
Known among FA Cup romantics and non-league historians. A landmark in Harlow’s club history, but rarely referenced in wider football circles.
FA Cup Fourth Round is phenomenal for a non-league side. Beating Leicester was seismic. But they didn’t go further, and no league success accompanied it.
Made headlines at the time, inspired local pride, and still mentioned in Harlow. But limited wider or lasting cultural resonance.
The 1–0 win over Leicester — massive. The Fourth Round tie against Watford was also a moment of national attention.
This is why we love the FA Cup. Plucky underdogs, muddy pitches, a packed Sports Centre, and a town believing anything was possible.
